During the seventh edition of SFS, held on November 19 and 20 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, alongside panels, exhibition areas, and networking sessions, one of the key innovations was the introduction of the podcast area. The podcasts, created in collaboration with “Tutti in The Box” and available for online replay on our YouTube channel, featured exceptional guests and partners.
The team at “Tutti in The Box” delivered original and accessible content, captivating football enthusiasts with their fresh and dynamic style. Among the notable guests during the two days were prominent figures such as Stefano Russo (YouGov), Riccardo Mele (Veo), Marina Presello (Sky Sport), Marco Bellinazzo (Il Sole 24 Ore), Pierdamiano Tomagra (Serie A), Tommaso Bianchini (SSC Napoli), Gaetano Lombardo (Palermo FC), and many others. Each brought their unique perspective on the football world, addressing topics ranging from industry evolution to strategic advice for the future.
A particularly significant moment was the speech by Christian Brocchi, former player of Inter, Milan, Fiorentina, and Lazio, attending as an ambassador for Veo. Brocchi emphasized the importance of restoring a playful and formative dimension to youth football:
“Today, kids must primarily have fun. It’s not just about teaching tactics but also fostering the freedom to play football and enjoy it. The goal is to help them improve their understanding of the game. Look at Spain: they don’t create automatons there but rather thinking players who understand how to position themselves on the field”.
Fantacalcio, a long-time partner of the event, took the opportunity to broadcast its daily program live on Twitch. Throughout the broadcasts, commentators and journalists shared valuable insights, technical analyses, and strategic tips for fantasy football managers ahead of upcoming matchdays.
The area dedicated to Fantacalcio was not just a space for discussing strategies and predictions; it also highlighted the growing centrality of fantasy football as a means of bringing fans together and fostering engagement. This sector, which continues to grow at an impressive pace, serves as a bridge between football passion and digital innovation, enhancing fan interaction and enriching the overall football experience.
The podcast area, with its mix of authoritative voices, in-depth discussions, and lighthearted moments, proved to be one of the most appreciated additions to this edition of SFS, further strengthening the bond between innovation and tradition in the football world.
