THE SFS24 PROGRAMME PRESENTED AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE
This morning, in the Press Room of the Flags at Rome Capital City Hall, the press conference for the presentation of the VII edition of SFS took place (here is the full programme). In front of an audience packed with journalists and industry professionals, speeches were given by Alessandro Onorato (Councilor for Major Events, Sports, Tourism, and Fashion of Rome Capital), Gianfilippo Valentini (CEO and Founder of SFS), Gaetano Biallo (AIL Director), Massimo Tucci (Director of the SFS), and journalist Giusy Meloni (Speaker and presenter of the awards night).
The two-day programme, set for November 19 and 20 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, was unveiled, involving top representatives of national, European, and global football. Institutional, public, and private partners, along with over 120 speakers, will be featured in over 90 panels across the five main stages.
“We will offer a modern image of Rome to the world; that is why it is essential to invest in such initiatives. We would therefore like to publicly thank those who managed the event in its entirety,” commented Alessandro Onorato.
This event offers a unique and unmissable opportunity to participate in a moment of learning and knowledge-sharing, as well as to discover new business opportunities. Special emphasis was given to the Extra Time competition, where eight selected startups will compete in a challenge aimed at proposing digital and innovative solutions for the entire football industry.
Gianfilippo Valentini praised the growth achieved by the SFS brand over the years and the synergistic bond developed with the city of Rome: “We have become a moment of reflection and sharing for many key players in this sector. With the city of Rome, we have created an important and lasting relationship, also thanks to its openness to hosting events of this kind. Rome Capital and the Lazio Region have been constantly supporting us.”
During the conference, attention was drawn to the sustainability of the event, certified as an ECOEVENT, which will adhere to the guidelines set by the ISO 20121 management system. The core themes of SFS include sustainability, digitalization, health, and the sports-tourism and entertainment industries.
There is nothing left but to participate actively in one of the most important events dedicated to the football industry. We hope to see many of you at the Olympic Stadium!
